Read Luke 18:1-8
SOAP Luke 18:6-8
Sometimes I feel like I'm bothering God with my prayers. But this passage makes it clear that He wants to hear our requests. Faith is evident when we trust Him enough to come to Him with our needs. So no more guilt over continual prayers! I have seen God intercede when I really got serious with my prayers. It makes me wonder how many defeats come simply from failing to ask for victory. Father, thank you for loving me enough to answer my prayers. Help me run to you more often.
Good Morning Girls
ReplyDeleteYou know a lot of times we feel like we pray on something for a good amount of time and may feel as if those prayers are going no higher than our heads. We may even feel like God is never going to answer, but He always does. It may not be in the way we would like or in the time we would like, but as His children we have to trust that He knows what is best for our lives. That last verse “will He find faith” I pray He does especially all of those who call themselves Christians. That we would study His words and stay rooted in what it teaches. That we would bring forth good fruit in our lives so that when given an opportunity we can benefit God’s kingdom with it.
I like what you said about staying rooted in God's Word. That's the best advice!
DeleteI agree Fawn a lot of times we fail to ask God things thinking may be too insignificant but surely if our earthly fathers hear their children they cry out, then we must know our heavenly Father does so much more!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great example to give your will up to whatever God's plan is. You are right that we needlessly agonize and don't pray enough.
