Anything Study - Week 4 Wednesday

Read 2 Chronicles 16:7-9

SOAP 2 Chronicles 16:8-9

I love verse 9, which states that God actively seeks to assist those with blameless hearts.  Knowing that God is watching us and enjoys helping us is very encouraging.  When we strive to know His Word and His ways, we can be considered blameless before Him.  As the Holy Spirit speaks to our hearts, let's respond by doing anything He promts us to do.  He promises His "strong support" for our obedience.

  1. Good Morning Girls

Looking at our scriptures today makes me just want to stand up and shout “Praise the Lord”. What a great and loving God that would deliver us out of our constant mistakes, if our hearts were blameless before Him. I don’t know about you but I had to stop for a moment and ask myself “Am I blameless before the Lord?” Scary question because most would answer no, I am thankful God is merciful to His children as we struggle to get it right. He guides us and leads us in the right direction when we give Him our “Anything”.
King Asa relied on man to help him not God, and even became angry and put the seer in prison for speaking the truth. We must never become angry when the Word is spoken into our lives by a man of God, especially when we know we are guilty. I want to be able to change my heart quickly when conviction sets in for I know then God is dealing with me on a matter. I know I have said it before, but I am thankful for His love and chastisement that allows me to change and lets me to see Him better.

Also I want to take a moment and share a little about the recent Mission trip to Arizona. We were blessed enough to get to be a part of helping another church get some needed work done to the building and God allowed that for the time we were there to see a man get saved on Mission work day. Which was a great renewing to our hearts as we rejoiced with Him . We also got to come in contact with people as we did the door to door ministry. This was really out of my comfort zone but God gave me ability when I asked Him to allow me to do this for Him. I am forever changed by this trip and would encourage all to go on a mission if God allows it. I know it will be a great experience in your life and get you out of your Me-box and into a greater scope of the lost world that needs to see Jesus.
