Read John 14:1-27
SOAP John 14:26-27
The Holy Spirit helps us understand God's Word and remember it. If that isn't good enough, Christ also gives us His peace. This passage makes me wonder if we simply underutilize the power of the Holy Spirit. Maybe a simple request is what stands between me and spiritual victory.

ReplyDeleteOur last week for our “Anything” bible study, I have been enjoying this study and today verses gives each of us as believer such joy in our hearts for the peace of God in moving in our lives and we are learning more about Jesus as the Holy Spirit teaches us and how blessed we are to be under that type of teaching. In my life I want to learn as much as can about my Savior and then give it out to whom the Lord will place in my direction. What Pastor Ben said about the people God places in your lives on a daily basis (the clerk at the grocery store or whoever you would see often) really stuck with me and I do want to impact them and I am asking God to give me the courage to do so. I have a friend named Sarah Montange that is seventeen and in love with the Lord and once you meet her you would say the same thing. What is so special about Sarah is that she is leads groups of teenagers out on a witnessing teams to almost any public event she can find and she said what you have to do is make people feel like they are missing out on something……..I love that!!!! Like duh, why didn’t I think of that…lol.
The seriousness of this is that people really are missing out on something great and that’s heaven. I don’t want to get to heaven and know that I didn't do everything I could to get someone saved. I think one of the great ploys that the devil has launch against the Church is busyness. I pray I do not let that stop me from witnessing to all those that I come in contact with as I speed through my day and that I will stop and help someone find Jesus.
