A child represents simplicity and humility. Children need everything done for them - a fact distinctly proven by toddlers! But this reminded me that motherhood fits the description of this kind of greatness the disciples wanted to acheive. Motherhood often seems unrewarded and includes some humbling duties. Personally, God has used this to refine me and my view of service. Sometimes people will be ungrateful or even scorn our service. Nonetheless, we are told to serve anyway. Christ certainly did that for us.

ReplyDeleteA spiritual mind strives for peace; a spiritual mind focuses on Jesus Christ. A spiritual mind constantly strives to grow and change from their old way of thinking and become a new person in Christ. If we are spiritually minded then the Lord can open our thoughts to his word so that we can begin to understand what He wants for us and then we can begin to live in it. When our soap said “and Jesus perceiving their thoughts of their heart” even when we are not voicing them they are still being heard, that makes me want to be very careful of what goes in and out of my mind and in and out of my mouth. I want my life to glorify Him, not for my purpose but to bring others to Him. I love the Lord Jesus with all I am capable of doing in my weak and human state, but I know that is all He desire of me and He is the center focus of my life and without Him my life there would not be much of a purpose to it. I pray the words I speak and the actions I do would always bring glory to His name.
