Good Morning Girls
Read Luke 7:44-50 SOAP Luke 7:47, 50
I loved to hear my grandpa talk about his salvation experience. He was so visibly grateful for salvation and the change it brought into his life. He changed the legacy of our family, allowing me to be raised in a christian home. I am grateful I was saved young, but I do see a lack of love and appreciation for God in my life. Jesus scorned this lack of love from the Ephesian church, "But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first." Revelation 2:4
The good news is that we can pray for this love to return. Paul did for the Philippians, "And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment." Phippians 1:9 This is my prayer today.

ReplyDeleteNothing we ever do will be too great for the Lord to forgive; I would call that great mercy, great love and great grace. This precious one received all these on that day that Jesus looked on her in a crowd of upstanding citizens. She a sinner who had been forgiven stood before him, weeping with tears of love flowing from her heart. Can you picture that scene in your mind? The Lord Jesus with his eyes upon her soothing her wounds with His balm of love. She must have at that moment felt that she was the most special person in the world. Her faith in Him as her Lord and Savior saved her and she would live the rest of her days in peace regardless if man never accepted her again, it did not matter for she had the love of Christ in life. I would like to think her life was completely restored after that and what the devil destroyed in her life, God was able to put right. I pray that in any circumstance I would the victor not the victim, that I can overcome any sin in my life by His love and His power which sets us free.
