Week 8_Monday

Good Morning Girls

Read Luke 16:1-12  SOAP Luke 16:10

This passage makes me think of the subject of integrity.  God has given each of us resources - time, money, talent, etc.  How we use those resources reveals our faithfulness to Him.  I struggle with time management and find that I am always running out of it.  But the faithful steward will strive to use every moment for a beneficial action - be it service, teaching, study, worship, etc.  God has been challenging me to take my "zone out" time and turn it into something beneficial - thereby being a better steward.  I am going to take this squandered time and spiritually use it.

Sorry I forgot the Friday post!

  1. Good Morning Girls

Our soap today could be summed up very quickly by saying……God must be able to trust me with a doughnut before I can get the seven layer cake with all the icing that I keep asking for. It’s so true we do ask for all kinds of things and I imagine our loving Father desires to give them to us, but if we are not ready to take them on because of our lack of prayer life or the study of His word. I think He knows it would then be our downfall and He loves us to much to let that happen. Its kind of like how Pastor Ben said in his sermon about giving his young children and adult job of driving a vehicle. That would be ridiculous and so would it for God to give us things we have not prepared our life for. Help me Lord to be like you word declares “slow to speak and swift to hear” and study you Word as if it was the last time I might get to do so.

    Be blessed Ladies!!
