Well today I got to study extra I went to Chapter 18 instead of 13 so that’s where I am soaping today… verse 20 deals with our human relationships and how we are to obey the commandments of God. The young ruler thought he was indeed already qualified for heaven and was it was almost as if he were saying, “I’m ready to go any time you are ready Lord”, except his heart was full of materialism and he was expecting heaven based on his good deeds. We all know the old saying that “the road to hell is paved with good intentions”. Thinking just because you’re a good person and don’t do bad things then you’re ok. We have to remember if we have broken one law we have broken all the commandments. Ask yourself have you ever in your whole life told a little lie or stolen something, maybe you took that second look (like King David with Bathsheba) when you shouldn’t have at that person strolling by and sin was conceived. We all will need Jesus forgiveness because we all have done things of this nature. There is no other way to enter into heaven expect by the blood of our Lord Jesus. Material things pass so quickly and for that matter life passes quickly, it’s not worth living it up in this world and be condemned in the next and separated from Jesus. Seek Him now while he may be found, give your life to Jesus and let Him begin to fix all the broken things in your life. I don’t know why I felt compelled to go ahead and post this blog, but here it is, and maybe it’s you reading this and need to know that Christ loves you and died for you and will forgive you. He’s done all the work all you have to do is receive it and begin living it. Don’t waste another day living your life without Him come now while there is still time. Come Home…..
