SOAP: Luke 21:34-36
It's so easy to see life today as the entire span of existence. Yet life on earth will be a distant memory after Christ's return and an eternity in heaven begins. Our world suffers from life avoidance - vices and habits that numb the pain of dealing with life. Rather than living in a fog, Christ would have us alert, anticipating his imminent return. May the focus of our lives be surrounded by His purposes and not our own.
I don’t know about you but I’m excited about Jesus and what he has done in my life, I want others to be free to live a life full of His love. In my past I lived a life full of drugs, alcohol, pornography, but when I heard the gospel preached, my ears popped open and I raced to altar because I knew I was lost and the life I had been living was wrong.
ReplyDeleteIt’s sad to say but there are so many different examples of Jesus inside of churches; I want to show those who are lost the real Jesus. Our scriptures show that Jesus went out every day to minister to people and then return to the Mount of Olives at night. That tells me He was out every day ministering to the people and that’s my example to live by. Lord I pray that I can stop wasting time and get out of the Me box and get focus on the lost of the world.
Well said ladies.
